Gene Ontology

GenePilot™ provides a sophisticated Gene Ontology display:

Within each result the gene ontology columns indicate which Gene Ongology is applicable to a row by the presence of a black square in the row. Gene Ontology types are indicated by a color-coded (red - biological process, green - cellular component, blue - molecular function) rectangle beneath the description. The color coding on the columns is for ease of sighting down a row. GenePilot™ also provides an interface for modifying the Gene Ontology display.

Within this panel the user can view the available Gene Ontologies in a variety of orders and from various groupings. They may also select the number of Gene Ontology columns and how the Gene Ontologies get selected including explicit selection.
